How long have you been with the company? 17 years

What does your typical day involve? Discussing print projects with customers, processing art files for prepress, quoting, providing technical support to our customers and a lot of data entry.

What do you like best about your job? The interaction with customers when discussing print concepts.

How did you get started in this industry? In my last year at school I had the opportunity to attend printing college one afternoon a week for 2 terms, it was during this period that I became hooked on printing.

What are your favorite sports or pastimes? My favourite sport is motorcycle speedway, I was lucky enough to cross off one of my bucket list items in 2015 when I attended the British Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff. Being 197cm’s tall I’m too tall to ride unfortunately. In regards to pastimes I enjoy golf, cycling, bushwalking, road trips, the theatre and concerts. My other interest outside of work is being a volunteer fire fighter with the NSW Rural Fire Service, I’m currently Captain of the Mt Riverview Rural Fire Brigade and have recently been awarded my 10 year RFS Long Service Medal.

Do you have a favorite sports team that you support? Leeds United Football Club

What would people be surprised to know about you? My wife is related to Sir Oliver Lodge who was ahead of both Marconi and Tesla in the fields of radio communication and electricity supply. He also has a disputed claim to inventing the spark plug.  

What is your favorite band, movie, or book?

What was your favorite holiday/vacation? Annecy in France, Malta, Sorrento in Italy, Perth in Australia.
