Vietnam features among the developing markets with strong potential for the future. With the acquisition of Oai Hung in Ho Chi Minh City in July of this year, Constantia Flexibles has therefore laid an important foundation for the future.
“The goal of this acquisition is primarily to supply the multinational and national pharmaceutical companies in the Vietnamese market with products that are tailored for our customers within this market,” said Pierre-Henri Bruchon, EVP at Constantia Flexibles, in describing the successful completion of the takeover.
The family-run company Oai Hung was founded in 1988. In 2015, it earned 25 million euros in revenue and had approximately 240 employees. The main products are aluminium blister foils and rigid film. The ultramodern production plant has a clean room that satisfies high international standards. On the conclusion of the acquisition, Pierre-Henri Bruchon had the following to say: “We are driven not only by a passion for our products that makes us and our employees unique – we are also driven by our passion to grow our capability to deliver such products. We are therefore very pleased to welcome the employees of Oai Hung into the Constantia Group as another team of highly dedicated colleagues. I am certain that our new colleagues will demonstrate the same enthusiasm in their work as do we.”
