Constantia Afripack was founded in 1933 as Paper Sacks (SA). A number of organizational and name changes ensued, which have brought us to where we are today - a leading name in the South African flexible packaging industry with two main product lines:
Exclusive long-term flexible packaging supply agreements with several blue chip companies in the food, construction and chemical sectors led to our expansion into industrial flexible packaging in 2004, where we concentrated on the supply of paper-based printed products for the industrial packaging market.
In 2009 Afripack expanded its focus to consumer flexible packaging products and formed the Afripack Flexible Division. Production facilities in Durban, Paarl, Johannesburg and Mauritius were added as well as an in-house repro facility offering specialised desktop publishing and high-tech reproduction services. Together these facilities allow us to offer customers wide and narrow web flexible packaging, extrusion coating, flexographic printing, labels and other digitally created print products.
