Eco-friendly achievements: Highlights from Constantia Tobepal’s Environmental Day
Eighty participants joined forces at the scenic Arlanzón River in Burgos, Spain, collecting 200 kg of waste, planting 140 trees, building 45 insect shelters, and engaging in an environmental interpretation workshop. This event, a collaboration between our Constantia Tobepal plant and Fundación Oxígeno, demonstrated a shared commitment to preserving our environment.
The day was packed with activities designed to educate and involve the volunteers in environmental care. Participants not only cleaned the riverbanks and collected litter but also contributed to the local ecosystem by planting trees and shrubs, enhancing biodiversity. They constructed insect shelters to support local wildlife and promote pollination and engaged in a workshop to deepen their understanding of environmental conservation.
Community and family engagement
The day was about more than just work; it was a celebration of community and a chance to connect with nature. After a day of hands-on activities, everyone enjoyed snacks and shared their experiences, strengthening bonds between participants.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated, particularly the Social Committee and the families who played significant roles in making this event successful. Their dedication not only benefited the environment directly but also served as an inspiration for continued ecological efforts.
