Joining the initiative 4evergreen
As a new member of the fibre-based packaging initiative 4evergreen, we are joining a growing movement towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
At Constantia Flexibles, we actively participate in associations and initiatives that promote the circular economy. Our dedication is demonstrated in our partnerships, such as alufoil for aluminum and CEFLEX for the film sector. And now, we are thrilled to share our latest collaboration in support of sustainable paper production: 4evergreen.
"Joining the 4evergreen initiative is a great opportunity for us to foster our engagement and broad activities on sustainability with our 360-degree material approach," said Daniel Winkler, Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee of Constantia Flexibles.
As our world evolves, so too should our packaging. That's why we're so proud of our consumer-friendly EcoPaper – part of our environmentally conscious solutions: Ecolutions. Our more sustainable product portfolio covers a wide range of substrate materials in flexible packaging, such as aluminum, film, and paper. EcoPaper, which is suitable for food products with low to moderate barrier requirements and available for flowpacks, sachets, pouches, and doybags.
"We are excited to collaborate with like-minded industry partners to adopt a full life cycle perspective also on fibre-based packaging and positively impact the environment," added Daniel Winkler.
Through our membership in this initiative, we are committing to a circular economy and collaborating with the entire value chain to improve the recycling rate of fibre-based packaging. As a leading converter and manufacturer in the flexible packaging value chain, we play an active role in improving paper circularity.
