Phase out of critical Substances
In 2020 the European Commission adopted its Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability. The strategy is part of the EU's zero pollution ambition – a key commitment of the European Green Deal – and aims to protect citizens better and the environment from harmful chemicals and boost innovation by promoting safer and more sustainable chemicals.
Going beyond current legal requirements, Constantia Flexibles is committed to proactively identifying and phasing out toxic or critical substances as intentionally added ingredients in our products and to ensuring that all raw materials used are safe and sustainable. Developing and manufacturing safer alternatives is a crucial element in achieving this goal.
